[ It's just a voice post at first, but the sounds of nature that overwhelm the audio makes it clear where she is more or less. Not anywhere populated, that is. ]

Names' Archer. Yeah, you heard that right. My mama had a really interesting sense of humor. [ Must be really interesting because she sounds wry and clearly not amused for a moment there. When she next speaks though, the lightness in her voice is back. ]

Lots of things to ask and lots of feelings to vent, but none of you need to deal with yet another hormonal teen feeling like ranting, do you now? So I'm gonna let you off the hook easily if you do me a solid.

[ A pause here, for effect. ]

Say, what are the "must see" places in these planets you've been at so far? Anything worth of trekking to? I've got a tent and a new pair of shoes and nowhere else to be.

[ She then switches to video. Hello bright pink/purple hair! Archer waves a hand meekly, lips pursed for a moment. She's obviously not comfortable on video. ]

One more thing. Kind of a long shot, but does anyone know where I can find hair dye of this color? I would owe you big time, seriously.

Is it an entire planet of flying whales then? Do I need especial equipment or something?

Ah well, would be it be crazy to imagine there are... intergalactic traders with lots of odd stuff around? Something along those lines? This is a very specific shade of pink.

They're on Aueia. You can reach it using the Ingress Complex. [At least that's the more certain way he knows.] Depending on what area you're currently in there's some sort of transit to reach there.

There have been plenty of shops and traders. I think you could also look into special orders with some of the vendors. I've had pretty good luck with specific foods.

Figured as much. But I've got all this planet to see first, I'm kind of bad at leaving things half done. Definitely on the to-go list though.

[ Archer doesn't actually need food, but knowing she could probably get something nice and familiar doesn't hurt. ]

That's the best way to do it, so I can't argue that point. Besides, who are we to say what's interesting.

I was able to find some good speakers from a vendor, finally. So I would expect you'd find something in the right range.

Well, you're a responsible adult with certain life experience, so if anything you have some level of leeway to tell others. Nothing absolute, but yeah.

That would really make my day. Week. Month. However long the dye lasts.

The life experience here varies more than usual, at least where I'm from.

But for me, the whales were new.

I've heard something more or less related in my world, but the one person that could tell me is very cagey about it.

I have a couple of people from the future of mine. If it's about the future, at this point I almost expect things to never go right.

That's a bit pessimistic, though.

I met one of my students. He turned out to be a pretty good guy.
