[When the TAB first flickers to life, all that's visible is an intricately scarred cheek with just the slightest peek of ivory fangs past blue lips. There's the faint sound of something shifting about and finally, Kurt comes into full view.

He's sitting on the edge of an old stone fountain, his tail swishing back and forth behind him, a grin plastered across his face.] I know very little about this holiday, but I've read a few things in an attempt to try and understand better.

[Meaning that he has forgone all the really romantic and couple-esque things about 'Valentine's Day' or whatever they would be calling it on Thisavrou.]

Giving chocolate to someone you like is traditional and I have more than a few friends and other people that I enjoy being around, so ... [He reaches over to pick up a small black box and pops the lid off of it, revealing the candy inside.]

Who wants some chocolate? [A soft laugh follows shortly after his inquiry as he replaces the lid and clutches the box to his chest, smile somehow broadening.]

I'm more than willing to deliver it, too.

It's extremely important to eat. If you don't, you lack the nutrients and energy your body needs to run properly and not to mention, your brain can't function correctly when it constantly feels starved.

[Kurt dips his head, pressing his shoulders against his ears and rubbing his fingertips over the scars on his hands.] I'm always worried that I'll say something wrong and offend someone.

Kurt, you're a dude after my own heart. I agree completely. Also? [He leans in to mock whisper.] They're all pretty bad cooks. Just, don't tell them I said that.

[Hunk just grins at him.] You're not gonna offend me by asking questions. Seriously, it's cool.

I think you've said that twice now! [A quiet laugh, one hand reaching to cup around his face as he bends forward to 'hear' Hunk better.] Ohhh, I see. Well, they won't hear it from me.

[He withdraws again, tilting his head to the side then smiling once more. Everything seems so easy around Hunk.] Even if they are not subtle questions?

Just means it's extra true.

[Hunk nods vigorously] Especially if they aren't. I'm pretty bad at subtle, in case you hadn't noticed.

I shall take your word for it.

[The hand lowers and his face flushes, head absently nodding.] Actually, I hadn't, but I know that I'm not the best at subtlety.

[ He grins again. ] All you gotta know then is that I'm a pretty straightforward guy. If I don't like something I'll say so. But honestly the list of things I don't like is pretty short. I mean, you don't plan on making me motion sick, do you?

Then, I should be entirely straightforward with you, ja? No 'beating around the bush,' as it were. [He shakes his head.] I would never intentionally make you motion sick! That would be despicable of someone to do.

Totally! And I mean, that doesn't mean you have to tell me everything. You can tell me you don't wanna talk about something and I'll back off. But I'm a pretty simple dude. [He flashes Kurt another grin] No big secrets here.

Whew, good. That's like, my major weakness.

That's a relief, honestly. There are times when I don't want to talk about things and I feel bad about that, but ... some things are just better left alone. [As in stuff in his past he'd rather not mention, like, ever?

His lips curve into what can only be described as a 'chesire cat' grin, those iridescent eyes glittering with mischief.] Oh, no, I know your weakness!

Yeah, all you gotta do is tell me, man. I always want to know more about my friends so I can get a little nosey, but I'll back off when you tell me to.

[He frowned.] I guess except if I thought you were in danger. Sometimes my friends have told me to back off but I was worried about their safety or they were possessed by a fish demon so I didn't. But other than that.

[Hunk flashed a grin.] Yep. You can totally exploit me now.

I'll remember, Hunk, but I don't think there's much that I'll be able to keep from you, seeing as how you're so easy to talk to.

[Kurt wrinkles his nose, humming thoughtfully and flicking the end of his tail.] To be fair, I'd prefer that someone tell me if I'm in danger. It's better to know what I can work with than blindly stumbling into the fray and hoping I don't get injured or worse.

[He scoffs in mock offense.] I would never!

[He grins, flushing a little as he scratched at one cheek idly.] Yeah, well, right back atcha. No big secrets here, though.

I guess sometimes people are in danger and don't want to, or can't, see it. Like if it comes from a friend. It can get hard, you know? But I'd rather my friends be safe and potentially hate me than the other thing.

[Another grin] Yeah, yeah, we'll see what you have to say after teleporting me around for awhile.

[He nods to show his agreement, moving his hands to settle them at his hips.] No secrets, then.

In my experiences, I've never had a friend end up hating me for protecting them or trying to keep them out of danger. They were angry for a long while, sure, but everything seemed to work out alright.

Honestly, it won't be a problem. [A soft laugh is the response at first, although 'teleporting' seems to make a light-bulb go off in his head.] Ach, mein Gott! I almost forgot that I need to make another chocolate delivery.

[Hunk jumps a little, eyes wide.] Dude, I'm so sorry! Here I am talking your ear off. Better go make someone else's day awesome too, yeah? [A wide grin] Hit me up about those pancakes. I'm gonna hold you to that IOU.

What? No, don't apologize! I could honestly stay here and talk with you all day. [He waves in a slightly dismissive manner then flashes a smile of his own.] Hey, I'm going to hold you to the pancakes and when we meet up for them, I'll show you the teleporting.

[ Another sheepish grin ] Solid deal. It was really good to meet you, Kurt.

The same to you, Hunk. [He raises a hand, dips his head in a bow then flashes a grin and disappears with a BAMF in a swirl of dark smoke.]
