[It would seem that someone has just been handed a copy of the welcome guide -- and instructed on a few basics, or he wouldn't know how to transmit this video -- and it would seem, also, that he is not entirely impressed by what he found in the guide. The video is just wide enough of an angle to show what appears to be a smear of blood on his shirt.]

It's nice. Someone clearly put a lot of work into it. It's not exactly helpful though, is it?

[It seems to have glossed over quite a few things, or ignored them entirely.]

For instance, for all the trouble it goes to to tell us where we are now, it says nothing about how we get home again.

[He'd really like to get back there. He's got ~~people to kill~~ things to do.]

Or even how we got here. Which is what I'd really like to know.

[Is someone messing with him?]

[Yes, the guide is rather unhelpful and it says nothing about how they can get home or how they got here, but that's not what has Kurt staring at the screen.

Mag-freaking-neto being on the network is what has him gawking.

Probably a good idea to make himself known, instead of ... well, kind of being a creep.] They brought you here, too.

[How helpful and observant he is.]

[Well isn't that an interesting face. He doesn't know the person it belongs to, but the skin and eye color, and the markings, are all quite familiar to him, and he can't help but wonder.]

So it would seem.

[Because he's here, obviously. It would seem that whoever this is knows him somehow.]

Do I know you?

[And commence more gawking because in this moment, Erik has no idea who he is. Thankfully, it's not the first time he's done this, so maybe it would be best to ask some questions with a more ... private setting.]

Apparently not.

[He pauses, shifts the TAB to his other hand and briefly glances over his shoulder before back to the screen.] What's the last thing you remember?

I was in Poland and then I arrived here. [He's not telling someone he doesn't know the details about what happened. They're no one else's business.]

[Kurt doesn't need to know anymore than that; he can make the assumption that Erik hasn't gone to America, which probably means that he has yet to be found by Apocalypse.]

I see ... [A pause.] You have blood on your shirt.

[... still as observant as ever, Kurt.]

[He glances down briefly. He hadn't even thought about that yet.] Yes. There is.

[It's nothing more than a matter-of-fact statement, and he's not surprised that it's there.]

[He swallows hard, trying not to appear too worried about that, though the concern is clear in the way his eyes widen.]

Are you hurt?

[He shakes his head.] No. It's not mine. [He's not at all bothered by it, either.]

It's not-- [He hesitates, citrine irises constricting at the realization. If it's Erik's blood, then who's is it?

Don't ask. It's none of your business.] Would you like a place to drop by and clean up?

It would be nice to wash up. [And also shave. That would be good too.]

Where are you currently located? I can come and get you and bring you back to where I'm staying.

I'm not sure.

[He tilts the camera around a little.] Does that help?

[It's a rather vague motion, but Kurt has a pretty good idea of where Erik's at.] A bit, ja. I'll be there as soon as I can.

[Most new arrivals end up at the Ingress Complex - the spot between the two worlds and thankfully, he's already there because of his weekly job hunting.

A couple of displacements and he appears not too far away from Erik, raising a hand in half-greeting, but to also aid in wafting the sulfuric smoke away as he approaches the other mutant.] Ah, hallo-- [a sudden pause, his mouth hanging open in slight confusion. What does he call him? He only knows him as 'Magneto' and even that doesn't seem right.] ... sir.

[Yeah, sure, that works in this case.]

[Kurt's sudden appearance is not that much of a surprise to him. He's seen it before, although it's been many years since then. He just hadn't expected to see someone else with that ability is all.]

You teleport?

[Now he's really curious.]

I do, ja.

[He's not sure what that has to do with anything, but he shrugs his shoulders and strides forward to be standing in front of Erik.]

That won't be a problem, will it?

No. It's just that I used to know someone who could do that.

[So at least the sensation is familiar to him.]

[Kurt bristles and practically holds his breath at that admittance, his eyes widening in shock.

He's never heard of anyone else having an ability like his own.] You ... you did? Who was it? What did they look like?

[Sorry, Erik. Time for questions.]

Tall. Red. Russian, I'm pretty sure.

[Not that "Russian" is a description of appearance.]

Another mutant, of course.

Red?

[That makes him wilt; if he's looking for people like himself, shouldn't he be searching for mutants with blue skin-tones?]

Any other distinguishing features about them?

He had a tail.

[Not that any of this really matters. Erik knows nothing of Kurt's background, or what else might have happened.]

... like mine?

[He glances over his shoulder, flicking the heart-shaped end of the tail, then returning his gaze to Erik. Kurt's not even sure of his own history, but the fact that Erik knew another teleporter is what really intrigued him.]

A tail like yours.

[Which now really has him curious, but there's no one to ask about it, so there's really no point in bringing it up.]

You mentioned something about a mansion?

[He falls absolutely silent, widened golden eyes gazing down at his feet. This was more information that he'd been expecting to process, but Erik is quick to remind him why he'd come here in the first place.]

Right, uhm ... [Motioning over his shoulder toward the Ingress, he turns on the ball of his foot and begins to lead them in that direction.

They'll have to go through to get to Kauto and from there, Kurt could probably teleport them to the mansion.]

Lead the way.

[Since Erik doesn't know where they're going anyway. Following Kurt seems like his only choice.]

[With a nod of his head, Kurt continues leading them on - all the way back through the Ingress and to the outskirts of Kauto.

Their destination is a bit further in, but he figures it better to ask Erik, instead of assuming:] Do you want to walk or would you rather I teleport us the rest of the way?
