Is anyone here good at hunting? There is some sort of infestation of small cats in the garden, and we should really stop them before they cause problems. Plus I think we can all agree some fresh meat would be a nice change.

I've been trying to catch some but they keep hiding in places I can't reach. Some assistance would be appreciated.

You have not met some of the horrible people I have. [He considers himself to be awful, but the truth is he's known much, much worse.] But I was more making a joke. It is okay to say every once in a while, "I am sorry I did not know this means so much to you, I did not mean offense." Is the way bad fights and bad feelings start sometimes.

You'd be surprised. I doubt they were any worse than Queen Burn or Blister. Or Morrowseer. It didn't really seem like a joke, but it's hard to tell tone in writing.

I already agreed not to eat the cats. I just don't think it's fair that I make the smallest suggestion that people disagree with and get my head bitten off.

I knew men that mutilated children. And to protect my family from them, I had to start killing people before my balls dropped. That part? Is not a joke. So killing bad guys to me? [Or killing guys in general.] Easy as kittens would be for you.

But I don't do it here, where things are different.

I think you should still apologize. They just wanted to stop you before you did something that would bother them a lot. Even if you accidentally do this sort of thing, we all do some things that we don't mean to upset somebody. It is for the best.

I understand killing when you have to, I just don't want to be the kind of person that kills for no reason. What you just described sounds a lot like how things are on Pyrrhia right now, to be honest.

If you really think it's that big a deal, fine, I'll apologize. But someone could have just told me about it rather than shouting at me like I'd suggested murdering hatchlings. How was I supposed to know kittens were so important?

Well, I did say assholes. But I mean on the very high scale of asshole. Not just bitchy people.

People panic when things are already bad for them. Like if you step on a toe that is already stubbed. Have to scream "Get off my foot! Get off my foot!" think of it like that.

That sounds exactly like something my friend Tsunami would say if she were here.

I guess that makes sense. Just my luck that I'd be the one to set everyone off though.
