For the many of you I haven't yet met: hi, I'm Natasha Romanoff.

I've been here for a few weeks now, and I know we have a lot going on right now, and probably more of us are - rightfully - antsy and-slash-or pissed, but I have a simple inquiry for everyone today: I could use a sparring partner or ten. Anyone else? Whether you want to blow off some steam about our current situation, or you just want to keep skills sharp, or so on.

Interested parties are free to contact me now, or later. I'll be around, obviously.

[She's not even adding a disclaimer that she's not superpowered, and/or that she only wants responders who are also not superpowered -- she can be a decent match for many with superpowers. Certainly not all the time (she has very fresh memories of being telekinetically tossed several feet and against a truck back home, and she lived, so it's fine ok), though. But she'll take her chances -- that's part of the challenge.]

I excel at hand-to-hand combat in close quarters. But I am very adaptable.

Been awhile since I've had a decent workout myself. I wouldn't mind lending a hand.

[Logan figures out that if she's offering, it's because she can hold her own. Plus, all of this idleness is getting on his nerve. Training might help.]

Sure. I wouldn't mind having someone to go a few rounds with.

[ Pepper had heard through the grapevine Natasha was stuck here as well, but she hasn't yet actually managed to catch a glimpse of the redhead so far. She's not entirely certain where she stands with the agent, considering they last had anything to do with one another when the russian was masquerading as Natalie Rushman -- and that had been ages ago, or at least so it seems.

Pepper isn't much for sparring, but that doesn't stop her from reaching out regardless, a small smile on her lips as she addresses the other woman. ]

Agent Romanoff. Fancy meeting you here.

[Usually, Kurt wouldn't jump at the idea of any extra training, but since he's not at the institute and she's offering ...]

What sort of sparring are you searching for? Hand-to-hand, weapons, magical powers?

Some. In the sense that it's not my go-to weapon, but it's one I know how to use. More practice with it would probably do me some good, anyway.

Great. [A half smile.] You're more comfortable with hand to hand, or...? [She trails off there, for something else to be filled in if so.]

We can go easy -- or, wait until until you're completely healed so as not to risk anything.

[If it were her call, she'd suggest the latter, because making injuries worse is ... the opposite of productive, obviously.]

Honestly? Dealer's choice. I'm a blacksmith by trade but I make it a personal principle to be able to competently use any weapon I can forge.

And I can forge a lot.

But I'm no slouch when it comes to hand-to-hand either. So, I'm game for anything you're not comfortable with.

"Not in the habit" -- what, do you think you might need to get out some bandages again here so soon?

[The more playful tone she uses and the smile that accompanies it give away that she's mostly messing with him in that. She does that; she's kind of a troll sometimes -- just call her Natasha Troll-manoff.

As long as you don't hold back too much, I won't either.

Sadly I'm not a professional- just a courier. But if anything, I think being on the Moira has taught me it doesn't hurt to be prepared.

I think you're right about it being on a lot of minds. In fact, I was just talking to one of my paladins about training not too long ago.

Are you planning on taking on all comers?

[Logan chuckles lightly at that, instantly catching on her messing with him.]

Next I go near bandages, it won't be for me. [Why yes, he knows that sound very smug of him, and he's not taking it back, since it's the truth. After all, with his healing factor back, bandages are useless to him. Although...

Logan's lips curls into a slightly wolvish smile:]

Or I might ask just to see you reach in your shirt again. [Why yes, he saw that. Troll-manoff vs Troll-verine

That makes him tilts his head to one side:]

We'll see about that.

[He can give her a good fight, but he will have to hold back so he doesn't kill her. There's not much of a choice when punch someone is the equivalent of them running into a concrete wall, and then some.]

That I am. [A flash of a smirk is on her lips.] What kind would you rather get in on? [weapons, hand to hand, etc.]

Anything you'd like to work on in particular?

[It has been years ago from her perspective, yes.]

I could say the same. [She offers Pepper a smile.] Seems like people from our world are quite popular here, as there's more than a few of us already.

How are you?

[Her reply is audio in return.]

I can work with a lot. Hand to hand and weapons are the standard. I don't have magical abilities myself, but I'm still willing to work with those with them. So, I suppose it's more what you'd like to work on if you're interested.

[She gives a small nod in both to the words and to the question specifically.]

At the very least, as many as I can with time. It offers a variety, and hopefully I could offer the same. [She doesn't want to get too used to a few things. She'd rather be kept on her toes.]

That's never a bad thing. [Being prepared.] Better to be ready to be kept on ones toes than to get complacent with something else. I take it you've been here a while? [It sounds like it, anyway, with his statement.]
