I've got a question for the peanut gallery, is this whole changing appearance thing the usual here?

[Because he woke up today looking like he should, not like some fresh faced twenty year old any longer. Now he's got a problem on his hands, possibly. The video shows off his mid thirties look, which honestly isn't that different from when he was younger, hairline up a fraction, a lot more tired looking, hair a bit thinner a billion wrinkles.]

I'm getting the feeling I should start to worry if I'm gonna wake up looking ninety years old one day. Reassure a guy won't you?

If you want some reassurance, I managed to snag a lot of beauty care products back on a planet a few months ago. I mean, if that's your thing.

So I'll take that as a yes. Fantastic. I guess there are worse things, like having a weapon melded into a part of my body. Seen a few of those since coming here.

Well... Not exactly a 'yes'. It did happen; apparently I had aged to about mid-forties. I know a few others who'd gone through what you had, going back to their younger years, with no real permanent effects.

I'm not sure how those weapons for body parts scenarios are going to be fixed. I guess I'll find out, since I work in medical. I'll keep you posted.

[Now he's curious how Elena looks that old. It's not old, but no doubt she looks different. She seems like someone who'd age gracefully though. Nate on the other hand probably looks like a potato.]

Hmph, it's not that bad. Maybe some under eye cream to help with the dark circles. Christ do I not sleep at all?

Oh yes.

I ran around for two weeks 14 years old again. These sort of shenanigans, you get used to them. Like rainstorms! Rainstorms that change your mind and body and sometimes leaves scars.

I spent a good week or two being twelve years old, and part of my arm turned to glass a while ago and never decided to go back to normal. [He waves said arm to demonstrate.] And then there was that time I was a vampire.

The major issues do at least seem to be temporary, although I'm a bit reluctant to say it's likely.

Seems like getting aged back is a popular pastime here.

Well, when you compare your entire body changing to just a part of it, it's a bit less major when it's only an arm or so, right?

I just arrived but spent my first two weeks as a 12 year old. It seems like there are quite a few cases of it. I don't know much about it though.

Seems to just happen from what I'm gathering from others. No reason for it, which is both relieving and infuriating at the same time.

Yeah, I agree. I'm beginning to realize that some have it worse, though...they came through with things fused to their bodies. It seems like whatever they were holding or carrying became part of them. And although the aging effect seems to have worn off for hopefully all of us, I still hope we can find an answer for them.

Anything that can go wrong will ultimately go wrong so your age might very well fluctuate. I've never had an issue with it, but I've been punished enough I think. Let us hope you have a very good skin care routine.
