[ It wasn't his first time squatting ... actually, it wasn't even his second time. ]
I've already done a run through. Most everybody is still relaxing in the good vibes of the festivities a couple days ago.
[ Festivities he'd steered well clear of, which should come as a surprise to no one. ]
I'd say the door is open, come on in but the door is non-existent, so ... come on in.
[ It was true, it was one of the last houses before the network of caves had become more predominant. Perhaps that was why it was one of the few to still have running water, hard to tell. Either way, it was significantly separated from the majority of the crew, while at the same time offering a good vantage point to keep an eye out for anything trying to come up on the main group's left flanke.
Adrien had set himself up with surprising comfort. The house was doorless, as promised, the first room empty but a soft amber light flickered from the room off to the right. The doctor had set up his tent against an interior wall, a small fire burned and crackled on the cleared floor just under the window that had a pane knocked out to properly vent it. Two small pots set next to the fire and there was the scent of coffee and soap in the air.
Adrien himself was sitting against a far wall with the camp light on by his hip. He was taking time to clean his weapons, his hair still moist from the recent shower. Courser was curled up a few feet away, chin perched protectively over the femur bone of one of the deer creatures.
No commentary about the large pile of pillows and blankets that seemed to be spilling out of the tent. Just ... ignore it. ]
