[the opening of the message sounds surprised, like she wasn't expecting it to work]
Ah yes--
[she hasn't really talked to a lot of people. To the few that she has spoken with, the soft voice of the sword spirit sounds different. It'smissing the modulation shaky for one thing, and she seems a little disoriented. It might be easy to mistake Fi as someone new until she continues]
If there is anyone with some spare time, it would seem that I require some assistance? I am... Uncertain? To my current location, but my MID appears to be in working order. [she's not entirely sure how, considering it's not on her wrists. It doesn't matter, that she can still use it like she could when she was herself is a relief]
...
D-does anyone have any suggestions as to how to stand under one's own power?
[ooc: she floats everywhere, gravity is a novel concept to her. A companion post to her log comment]

... It appears to be a common question. Should I have included my general co-ordinates in my original message? [oh. Was this... Could this be frustration in it's full glory? She thinks she might have experienced something like this while watching her Master fall asleep in beds that were not his one when he ought to have been doing other things, but never at this level]
P-pulling...? [she sounds baffled but after a moment, she decides to repeat the directions to her general location (give or take a couple of blocks?). Again, she sounds more like a GPS or Siri than a person when she gives instructions... Though Badou gets the slightly more frustrated sounding version for all his troubles.
She's beauty, she's grace, she'll kick you in the face when she gets back to normal at this rate]
[audio]
the sound he makes no is definitely a chuckle, a strangled one like he's trying not to. He might as well come see for himself, huh.]
Alright, I don't think I'm that far. Pull, y'know, with your arms? By then I should be there.
[its a good thing he didn't lose his camera.........]
[audio]
...
[she won't... actually pull herself along because she's even less familiar with fingers than she is with the idea of having to literally carry her own weight. But she does pull her (now pretty bruised) knees up as she rests her back against the wall she had used to try and brace herself with earlier. When the Lamaria had mentioned 'understanding' in their blessing, she had no idea it would result in this]
[audio]
it takes him maybe fifteen minutes to get to where he was instructed and he keeps his eye peeled....but it doesn't take long to spot her. A blind, deaf and dumb priest wouldn't miss her if he were here and not currently back home.
Badou gawks.]
You weren't kiddin!
[audio]
... I do not understand?
[and for once, for once, she actually sounds and looks genuinely confused]
ahaha...i forgot to --> action this
Then a sigh, a good natured one]
Want a hand?
[he even offers her his hand.]
... I wasn't paying attention at all;;;;;
'Up in the air' implies... Unfamiliarity with the current situation?
[and then she stares at his hand like she doesn't know what to do with it.
grabs his wristAh, wait. Realisation dawns on her face and she reaches out to... Somewhat daintily put her hand on his? Is this how it is done? She looks up at him, expectant. What now?]
okay good thank goodness
[he's still laughing when he tries to tug her up, gently so as he doesn't tug her arm right out of its socket.
Eventually she's pulled up to his level]
Well hey there.
no subject
Her... Very wobbly feet.
The air about her seemed even more confused when she's standing than when she had been sitting on the ground]
... [after a couple of seconds for her to get used to things, she turns her head to look at Badou. There's no overt expression on her face and her stare is piercing. After a moment-] I do not recognise you, though you wear an MID. Have you only recently arrived?
[every so often, her grip on Badou tightens, like she's trying not to fall over again. Standing should be a skill that she'll get the hang of... Soon... Probably.]
no subject
Yeah, just got here. You an old timer from here? That why you don't got your space legs?
[sighing, he shifts her around until she's stepping up on his feet, even.]
no subject
[the shifting would probably help if she wasn't actively trying to avoid stepping on him. Then, a quick surprised noise;]
I do not understand what you are trying to do. Requesting an explanation-!
[she almost collapses again while saying it too. This must be frustration in it's full glory. (She does not like it)]
no subject
[he looks at her, brow cocked]
Trynna help you balance, that's what.
no subject
... Stand still, allow me to re-calibrate.
[here, she seems to know what she's talking about. She should, at least. Ghirahim had made walking appear effortless, such a thing shouldn't be difficult, right? Well, when you're not accustomed to the feeling of having legs that touch the ground, theory might not amount to much]
no subject
[re-calibrate...? maybe shes also a robot and doesn't understand Halloween....welp, he'll find out. Badou even does as she's requested!!]
no subject
[She gets less wobbly as
the Wiimote isn't be swung wildly around the screenthings stabilise. Standing seems to be okay! Though she lacks confidence that she can remain standing for long periods of time]As well as standing. There is a 90% probability that walking will also be a rather... arduous task.
[she does not look forward to trying to walk back]
no subject
he WOULD imagine if he wasn't trying to focus on her words]
Probably. At least you're standin'? I ain't gonna carry you around, by the way. Unless you pay me.
no subject
Pay?
I am in an unsuitable form to be carried. [
Fi what?] Walking practice would be the recommended course of action.[does she even understand how a buddy system works? Who's to say? She simply knows that it would be dangerous to go alone]
no subject
he contemplates throwing her over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes.]
Babysteps, then?
no subject
Steps. Steps sound like the best course of action.
[a slight sway as she says it, and Fi ends up tightening her grip. Though it might not feel like it, because like legs and standing, having actual hands (with fingers!) is just as novel. She'll get the hang of it in this trial by fire that is returning to the Moira]
no subject
it couldn't hurt for her to practice a little. until he inevitably manhandles her. so he takes her by the hands and tells her:]
Alright, get off my feet. They were thirty bucks you know. Now, slowly....take a step.
[its like having a child
a small used-to-be-blue child who is ancient and talks like a robot]
no subject
[gingerly... steps off of him... But then looks confused at 30 Bucks because different currency and also what is casual jargon? Alas, it seems she will have to ask another day as a more important task has reared it's head.
Namely.
Walking instructions.
She appears to be able to move her limbs just fine but from the way she pulls on Badou's hands as she moves and her subtle shaking, it doesn't appear that movement is the source of her problems.
Still, she does eventually figure out the balance thing long enough to take one step back.
PROCEEDS TO LOOK EXPECTANTLY UP AT BADOU
what a novel experience, she does not much care for it]no subject
WHY DID HE AGREE TO HELP HER
WHAT IS HE GOING TO GAIN EXCEPT SOME WEIRD...ROBOT TALKING LADY
but he nods at her and also takes a few steps.]
Kay, now keep going. Don't just stop there. Move your other foot, left, right, left right. You know those, dontcha?
no subject
... [and she appears to be capable of differentiating one foot from the other. It's a little silly how seriously she's taking this task (or maybe it's a little sad to watch her struggle? Depends on one's point of view, surely)
They make it to the end of the street before Fi stops, a little out of breath, to ask;]
Was it difficult for you to learn? I have never been able to observe humans learning to walk; all creatures that I encountered either already had mastery over this task or had no need for it.
[a pause... Then she admits quietly;] I had no need to learn.
no subject
was it difficult for-- he snorts]
I dunno, I can't remember. Most of us learn when we're little. Not all of us could fly or use magic clouds or whatever to get around.
no subject
... [there's a head tilt in consideration - because in the land of Hyrule, both of those options were perfectly viable - before nodding]
It is something you learned while young. [it's repeated thoughtfully before she seems to catch her breath] I can continue.
[at least she doesn't seem like she's going to deliberately make Badou carry her, and though their progress is slow, it is moving at a steady pace save for the occasional stumble or two.
It's a matter of how long Badou is willing to put up with her
