Ah yes--

[she hasn't really talked to a lot of people. To the few that she has spoken with, the soft voice of the sword spirit sounds different. It's missing the modulation shaky for one thing, and she seems a little disoriented. It might be easy to mistake Fi as someone new until she continues]

If there is anyone with some spare time, it would seem that I require some assistance? I am... Uncertain? To my current location, but my MID appears to be in working order. [she's not entirely sure how, considering it's not on her wrists. It doesn't matter, that she can still use it like she could when she was herself is a relief]

D-does anyone have any suggestions as to how to stand under one's own power?

It's okay, just take as long as you need.

[and Fi takes a second to collect herself-- Okay, so it takes more than a second and part of it has to do with the fact that her own emotions are causing her to panic as well. But it's a little easier to overcome the sensation now that she doesn't have other things to worry about (Such as getting run over) and she pushes herself into standing position again shortly]

... [she looks a little annoyed, but not at Lucio] It is not physically possible for one's heart to jump, yet just now... [There's a frown as she thinks about how to verbalise her question but it's hard to explain-- Oh.

Fi turns her head to look at Lucio]

Request advice on how to calm oneself down more effectively.

[this seems like it would be helpful! Though she starts trying to walk again as he explains. This would be a better use of their time, wouldn't it? Especially considering how dreadfully slow her own progress was]

Alright. [he boops her nose with his free hand.] You see this thing? Inhale through that for 5 seconds then out through your mouth for 5. Maybe close your eyes, too. I'll stay here for as long as you need, okay?

[lúcio is honestly, truly, intensely curious as to what fi was before all this. he decides those questions can wait for later, if she's on the verge of a panic attack.]

[she crinkles her nose and flinches back when he pokes he] One's nose is too close to be able to see properly.

[comes the response before she does as she's told. Anything with a stopwatch will notice that she does inhale and exhale for exactly 5 seconds. Looks like some of her quirks have remained in spite of the sudden change in species. But Lucio's advice seems to be helping, and her focus on the amount of time each breath takes helps take her mind off of other things.

It takes her a little less than a minute to get her heart under control but she does look better for it]

... [she opens her mouth, then closes it, frowning slightly] At times like these, it is common to express words of gratitude at times like these. So... Thank you.

[he hooks his arm under her elbow when she indicates she's ready do go and pulls up very, very gently.]

[the increased contact causes her to flinch, but the promise of returning to the ship sooner and the need for physical support causes her to hang on. Her free hand reaches over to rest on Lucio's elbow as she nods then proceeds to follow his advice.

The going will be slow, but she's going once again]
