[It's not the same as before where he'd woken up with a light breeze on his skin causing his too-long hair to dance across his forehead, and the sweet, dry smell of fruit trees. No, it's blue light and too much wind. There's nothing normal about that. The communication device strapped to his hand is cold. Bucky's used to not remembering things, but the long hall and unfamiliar faces tell him something's off. There's a million explanations going through his mind and none of them make any sense except one and he doesn't want to think about that.
Bucky goes through the motions. Steels himself while he's checked out. Signs the contract. Lets someone take him to his room and then walks the halls. Now back in his room, he clicks on the MID. His face is half-hidden and voice low. He wouldn't be doing this if it wasn't necessary. He's combed every inch of this goddamn ship and he can't find Steve anywhere.]
I'm looking for someone. Tall. Blond. Loves America.
[It's risky to put it out there. He doesn't know these people and trust isn't something he gives easily. But he needs to find someone he remembers. Someone from Wonderland. Someone from back home. Everything is muddled and this place looks like something his mind has made up.]
His name's Steve.
[There's a brief pause.]
If someone could tell me what the hell's going on here, I'd appreciate it.
[The feed cuts off.]
[ooc: this bucky is a crau from another game. he thinks that he never left his previous game world and that it is during an 'event'. i'm so sorry if he confuses anyone.]

video;
[ It would cause her less confusion if he didn't look exactly like the other one. But not the other-other one. The small one with poor game. (If Medusa knew the term "game.") ]
But you would not be the first Bucky here, and perhaps you won't be the last either.

That should be strange to hear. It isn't.
[He's already exhausted. Worn thin of all the trouble he's caused and with how much he misses those from where he'd come from.]
Don't worry, I'll keep to myself.

Whatever for? This is a small ship. Your arrival might be a surprise, but we are all used to this by now. If we can tolerate two Starks, another Bucky should be no imposition to anyone. You should not feel like you have to isolate yourself. Unless you would prefer to be left alone, that is.

Figure that if people know me, then it’s only fair to give them the chance to tell me to keep away.
[He owes some of the people here that at least.]

[ This ship is nothing but trouble. ]
But I understand. I did a similar thing when I arrived. The whole matter is complicated due to the Ingress' tendency to involve alternate universes on a frequent basis. I knew them, but none of them had heard of me.
[ Which was more irritating than despair-inducing, to be honest, but she didn't get to be queen by falling to pieces when the universe hits the fan and the laws of time and space are bent for shits and giggles. ]

The problem is that I don’t know if I should stay away.
[A little bit of honesty with a complete stranger? Yeah, people back in Wonderland would be proud of him.]
Or what I should or shouldn’t say. They have a right to know. Don’t know if they want to.

[ If the honesty is at all surprising, well— it's been a long few months here. They are all better off for a little more transparency right now. ]
All you can do is offer it. They have a right to know, if they wish to— and they have a right not to know. You will draw distrust if you withhold that you know anything, and you will invite fear and anger if you simply unload everything you know at their feet. So you will have to wait and see, and let them make up their own minds.
[ Frustrating as it is to play secret keeper. Medusa tries very hard not to think about all the futures she knows, and the details of people's lives they may not want her to know. If they are even still true. ]
Or you could refuse to interact with any of us altogether. I think you will find that is not a viable long-term strategy.

[Bucky can't decide if he hopes that Tony will ask for answers or tell him he doesn't want to know. The memory of his reaction the first time is still fresh in his mind after all this time. The way he'd looked at Steve, the betrayal and hurt. The way he'd looked at Bucky as if he was finally seeing him clearly - the real him. The monster that he was.
He'd been given a break in Wonderland, one he didn't deserve. The Tony there had experienced things differently and forgave him. This one was years behind and he didn't want to ruin Steve and Tony's friendship with the truth.]
If they wanna know, I won't keep it from them. And I won't hide myself here. It didn't work well for me that way before, don't think it will now.
[Bucky's worn out. Exhausted with everything that's happening. It's nice to have a clear minded person helping him out.]
Thanks. For talking it over.

[ So unideal that when her universe's Tony Stark actually made an appearance, she was almost a little relieved to finally get to talk to him. At least someone who can share her perspective. ]
My name is Medusa, for the record. Now we can say we have officially met.
