I don't know, they're unconscious when you look at them. The people working there just told me that they were alive and that it wasn't illegal to make copies of people coming into the shop.

I'm not sure if I know what you mean. I've never seen any places that let you swap bodies with anyone, especially places that will just make copies of you without asking.

It's not really practiced anymore, and it was less making copies of people and more literally letting someone else borrow your actual body for a while. It's kind of the same idea with the whole body swapping thing, but to me this seems a lot more intrusive. We at least gave permission and were compensated accordingly. This is just downright creepy.
