What time are you from?

One of history's greatest soldiers is known "the mother of the special forces", in my world. [Even if how she went down in history isn't as great as it should have been.] Must have been a difficult mountain to climb.

I would feel more comfortable if it were, but I have to admit, acclimating to alien ranks might be slow going. I have a feeling some of the militaries here are structured somewhat differently from our own.
