My fellow Cybertronians, citizens of the Moira. Some of you already know me, for those of you who do not, my name is Starscream. I am the current elected ruler of the planet Cybertron, but today I come before you with a confession. You see, my time here has given me a chance to reflect on my position, and myself as a whole. I've had the opportunity to scrutinize the choices I've made in the past, how my experiences, my failures, may affect my ability to lead a planet into an era of true peace and prosperity. To keep things short and simple, I have come to the conclusion that I am, at this current time, unfit to rule.

Given the circumstances, I'm unable to officially resign, simply because we lack the proper paperwork, but I ask my fellow Cybertronians to rest assured. By the time we're able to return to our home, I will have become every bit the leader our people deserve. I promise you this.

My apologies for the interruption, and thank you all for your time.

[tl;dr Starscream lost a bet. And by lost a bet I mean he accidentally maybe killed Ratchet a bit a few weeks ago and the other Starscream is blackmailing the shit out of him in exchange for keeping quiet but hey you know how it goes.]

[Ratchet is very still for a moment, his optics sharp on Starscream's face.]

You're sure. [He seems oddly intent.] You must have hid it, after I--you have no idea where it went?

...Okay, this is going to sound really bad, but I stuffed you into my closet. Unless that other Starscream found out and decided to put it somewhere else just to mess with me, there's no way it would have been moved. I have no idea what happened to it.

[Ratchet doesn't look angry at his ultimately ignoble fate but something flickers in his optics before he leans back, heaving a shaky sigh of air from his vents.]

Classy. All right, never mind, then.

[This is all so confusing, Starscream half expected to get yelled at but Ratchet just seemed so. Bluh. about it.]

...I mean, I could try looking for it, but as far as I know, someone just dragged you off and put you back together somehow. Did they do it wrong or something?
