[As soon as she got away from Alexander and back in her room, Daisy's on her MID. Trying to get in contact with everyone this matter pertains to.]
Uh. Do you guys know that Alexander Pierce is here?!
Uh. Do you guys know that Alexander Pierce is here?!
video;
Yes, I met him. May I ask why you're bringing this to our attention?
[guess who doesn't know about HYDRA still existing?]
no subject
Because he is HYDRA. Was HDRYA until he died anyway.
no subject
No. No, he's SHIELD. Not HYDRA.
[because HYDRA doesn't exist anymore. They were finished off, after Schmidt died.
Right?]
no subject
Wish he was, but he isn't. He played everyone. Kind of what HYDRA agents are good at.
no subject
We stopped HYDRA. Schmidt died, they crumbled without him--
[she's not saying Daisy's wrong, not really. She's just trying to understand what she missed.]
How?

Cut off one head, two more shall take its place.

[She wants details, Daisy. She doesn't actually know how much Daisy even knows, but if she doesn't know a lot, Peggy has a feeling she knows who will. And she's already making a mental note to contact Steve about this later.]

[So this whole thing was a little personal for her. She knew it was for Peggy as well.]

She could easily argue, insist that they wiped HYDRA off the wipe (quite literally, at the time), but she knows Daisy isn't lying. She can see that sting of betrayal, something not so easily faked.
While she's not sure she's ready to accept it completely, she's listened. Now she just needs time.]
Thank you, Daisy. For making us all aware. [At least she wasn't the only one out of the loop on this?]

I'm usually a pretty good liar but it's kind of hard to hide that much disgust.
no subject
[Don't worry, she won't be able to hide that disgust next time she sees him, either.]
