[ There's more than one reason why Bruce chooses text over audio or video, but right now, the main one is because he wants to avoid any confrontations. There's still a good chance they might come, if people recognize him by name alone, but this way he keeps a certain amount of distance. ]
Hi. This is Bruce Banner. Given the current state of the ship, I've been trying to think of ways to cope with the cold that seems to have settled pretty much everywhere. I don't know nearly enough to suggest how to fix it, besides it doesn't seem like there's much anyone could do in that regard - but we can still try to help each other through this.
My suggestion would be to find one single space, large enough for the whole crew, but still not so large that the cold disperses too much. Preferably somewhere that's dry - so no pool or mess hall, for instance. We should all move there temporarily, take as many clothes, blankets and pillows as we can, and settle in together. It'll help us all keep warm a little better, I think. Not to mention we might avoid life support going down on places at random, if we can get the captains to focus most of whatever energy there is in maintaining the environment in one room.
[ AND because he's sure some people will know him by name... ]
By the way, in case you're wondering: yes, I'm that Bruce Banner. Ask your questions, if you have any.
Otherwise, feel free to suggest some places for us to settle in.

I would like to address hippo in room.
Elephant.
I'm not so good at English, can't remember which it is.
But I am not pissed at you. It probably does not make you better in your own head, but I will tell you anyway. [Because Niko is dangerous when he gets angry too. With less reason.]

[ And he can't help a tired smile at the rest. It's a lot better than what he'd expected when he first posted, though - so far people avoided the topic, or just didn't know who he was or what had happened, but that the one person to address it doesn't do it in a hostile manner is an honest relief. ]
Elephant. But either works.
Thank you. That means a lot. [ That he actually understands that Bruce didn't want to do any of that. ]

[Niko knows it fucked him up, but honestly it's a mentality he'll never escape.]

[ Except he does - and it hits a little too close to home. Even before the monster, his whole childhood was a string of abuse, one hurtful word after the other, and somehow the words hurt more than being pushed around and beaten up. Useless, weak, a waste of space... he heard it all. Sometimes he hears the voice in his head and he doesn't know if it's still his father, or the Hulk. ]
I would rather not be strong, for what it's worth.
I would rather the monster could be stopped somehow.

Still, a lot is expected of us. Whether it is what we wish to do with ourselves or not.
Either way, I am not mad with you.

[ At first he kind of wanted everyone to be mad at him, to hate him. It was a good distraction from how much he hated and blamed himself. But he can't say he minds having so many people around that are willing to accept and even understand his side of things, even if they likely won't forget. Neither should they. ]
Sorry, what's your name? [ He could check the MID, but it feels better to ask. More personal. ]

I work in the Cargo Bay.
[Because, other than his own deck, he hasn't been getting out much. Even long before this he hasn't been in much of his usual mood to socialize.]

[ Bruce's mind immediately goes back to his time in the cage, still there in the cargo bay. He'd rather it stay there too, honestly. He hopes it won't be needed again, but he can never be too sure. ]
Bad luck that we didn't meet before.
[ Or good luck, probably. He looked and felt horrible back then, at least now he's back to feeling a little more human. ]
I tried to hit a button and hit tab and it posted before I was done.
Not bad luck. I had no interest in talking to anyone.
On the ship I was on before I came here, we were made to destroy planets. No survivors. Even if that is not this ship's goal, I am still owned by it. Have to wear a tracker. It didn't have me in the best mood.
No worries!
[ Being tracked in general is something that most people seem to dislike, for obvious reasons. Bruce never did appreciate having SHIELD following him around, for instance, and in Niko's case, he can easily see how that sort of thing wouldn't sit well with him. ]
I'm sorry about that. The planets.
All of this must have been a bitter reminder.
Why were they destroyed?
no subject
If people were there? Well, what were natives in the way of progress? No one was allowed to escape. The planet, the lives on it, were their property. We were too, tricked into signing contracts. If we broke contract, they had our planet, too.
That place just made me hate capitalism even more.
But you, yeah is shitty. Is fucking awful what happened. But it was still an accident for you, for us not going. Brought on by bad decisions, and I am angry that their pride was rejected in the first place, but after that? Anything we did seems very little.
[He does wish he didn't have to be in such proximity to mass destruction. It's a hard reminder in the far reaches of the universe he's not going to escape it.]
no subject
At least here it doesn't seem to be the purpose. It was just a horrible accident.
I just hope it won't happen again.
[ To that effect, chances are he won't disembark onto any of the planets they visit in the near future. Even if he doubts they'll find a planet that fragile anytime soon. ]

But this place was too brittle. It was almost literally like having a bull in a china shop. Fighting him only made things worse. Not that anyone could have known, of course.

I know how I am when I'm pissed off. Being hit never helps me too good.

[ He didn't even like Betty coming near the Hulk, let alone anyone on this ship. He barely knows any of them as it is, even those he likes he's not nearly close enough for the Hulk to care what happens to them. ]
Well, it does make him angrier. But if the other person can keep up with him, then at least his anger will be focused on them, rather than spread all around and hurting innocent and defenseless people. Lesser of two evils.
no subject
[Honestly, the only people he's ever cared to calm down for for any length of time is people that he loved.]
You must admit, though, it does seem very sad.
no subject
It's just how things are. There's nothing that can be done about it.
[ Yes, he knows it's sad. It's his life, so he knows that better than anyone else. ]
