(Well. Eddie certainly couldn't complain about no tests. A part of him knows that he has to go to school purely on the child-law of Obeying Adults. But so far, things had seemed pretty lax around here. None of the usual adult authority. Eddie supposed that had been a bit of a dream to expect it to go on like that.
Writing isn't his favorite, but reading? Not bad. Astronomy? Actually interesting. So was space history, his intrigue growing subtly on his face.
But what really catches his attention is the question of what he would like to learn. His mouth pops open and he just stares at her for a couple of seconds. No one in their right mind ever asked children what they wanted to learn. It was all state-mandated things. Boring droning lessons rewashed from grade school up.
So what would he want to learn?
After getting his memories back, learning about how he wasn't all that sick, Eddie knows. He closes his mouth and rubs absently at his arm where he could still sometimes feel the break.)
I dunno. Maybe...like. Medical stuff. (He knew he wasn't allowed in the medical bay, and maybe that was too big of a request for a kid to make, but it would be nice to actually know the truth behind all that garbage his mom had been feeding him for years.)
Would we still have stuff like summer breaks and holiday breaks? Homework?
