You're right, we weren't prisoners there. [Dorian accepts the bottle of water though it's not exactly what his body is craving at the moment. Granted holding the water on his own makes it difficult to hide his symptoms with the liquid quivering in it's container in response to his restless hands.] Though I suspect they treat their dogs much better than this.
[Dorian takes a sip of the water given to him, if for no other reason than to fill the space between the silence with something to do, but after a moment he drops his head and slumps in his sitting position a bit.] This is going to get so much worse...no point in lying to myself about it...if I can physically cope, I'm not sure.
[Dorian turned his eyes on Venom after a moment, briefly despising himself because he knew how he must look. Helpless. More so without his magic.] I'm not so fond of the me I am right now. You [and others of course] have had to help me so much recently. I'm complaining and I know you have your own problems, I shouldn't be one of them.
