[Some of the residents of these strange planets may recognize the building visible in the background when the video turns on: the X-mansion, at one point intended to be a boarding school but a little short of that vision right now. Those who don't know specifically what it is will just see that it is a very large house (seriously, Charles, who needs that much house?) surrounded by grass and trees.

It seems to me that what this place could benefit from is some self-defense classes. Just in case anyone ever has a need to defend themselves.

[Or finds themselves in an arena again. You never know.]

There's plenty of space in the basement for just that. There are no regular class times yet, so if you're interested in learning, let me know.

[For a fee, of course. He has to afford food somehow.

I would like to take these classes. I know I can fight with my powers but I don't know how to do much without them.

They would have a hard time learning with only one leg.

But you could make them go to the front of the class and demonstrate something.

I've found not using my powers helpful on a few occasions.

When my powers were taken from me, it didn't seem all that helpful.

There have been a couple of times where methods other than using my powers were helpful.

Will you be teaching?

Yes. We all did after the ship crashed. We had to make our way to the center of the Midway Hub on foot. We passed through one gate and lost our powers. We didn't get them back until we went through the inner gate. We had to deal with the landscape and leftover traps during the journey.

We didn't really run into people we had to fight but I didn't like feeling the way I did.

And if you think anyone wants to learn about rocks or something else geophysics-y, I can teach something with that.

I've found it useful a few times. It probably helps that I picked up a few things before I had my power to rely on.

Charles would have liked it if the place were to turn into a school again. I'd be willing to teach. I've given students plenty of training in the danger room, and I can give regular classes as well. My history knowledge might not be very useful here, though some might like to take a class for fun, but I could give classes on environmental science for example.
