[ To say that it is taking some effort to adjust to the new reality Ororo has suddenly found herself in would be quite an understatement, but she still manages to look perfectly calm and composed as she offers the network a polite smile.
Would she like to maybe have herself a minor little breakdown? Sure. But she has absolutely no idea what sort of consequences that might have considering the quite substantial storm that is already going on outside the Ingress Complex, and there really just isn't time to fall apart right now. Maybe at some later point she can allow herself to fully absorb the shock of what has happened, but for now she has to keep moving forward. ]
Hello. My name is Ororo Munroe, and I'm a relatively new arrival here. Where I'm from I'm a teacher, mostly ancient history which isn't really going to be too useful around here unless some of you are dying to know about the Roman Empire, even if that was never a thing on your planet or in your timeline.
What I also am, is a mutant, which in my case means I have the ability to control the weather. I can survive in just about any climate, and I can get all sorts of information about what is going on in the environment around me because I am basically wired into it, which is a gross oversimplification but you didn't come here for a lecture.
[ Damn, but it feels pretty good to not hide what she can do. Screw anonymity, she's nowhere near Earth and its mutant registration act, and she is going to be completely and unashamedly herself. ]
I'm mentioning these things because I'm going to be needing a job pretty soon, so I figured I should put myself out there. Thank you for listening.
[ Her expression shifts into something a bit more amused, and at the same time sort of sad. ]
Oh, and if you have any good hangover remedies? Feel free to share them.
[ She's asking for a friend.
No, seriously, she is. ]

She's not the Ororo that he knows, but that's not going to deter him any.]
Hallo, Storm.
[For a few moments, that's all he offers - nothing of his name or questions about how she came to Thisavrou, considering he knows how the Ingress simply pulls people through on a whim. He can't help wishing that Charles was here now, giving them advice on how to handle all of these new arrivals.
He's not sure what compels him to do so, but hey, he might as well help with the hangover stuff, since he knows some remedies.]
Lots of fluids. Greasy food tends to help because it soaks up the remaining alcohol and ginger helps settle nausea. My best advice?
[Pause.]
Go back to sleep.

And I'm always interested in talking about the Roman Empire, but probably not while you're concerned about hangovers.

In a way, Storm had made something of the past couple of days...not better, but less sharp somehow, not as unbearable. She hadn't been his confidant for some time, but they settled back into it like things hadn't changed, when irrevocably they had.
How he'd found the liquor was a mystery he wasn't keen on sharing, but he was well on his way to shitfaced by the time Ororo pulled him away. That was fine, actually, he did what he'd set out to do: put some distance between a whole lotta fucked-up upheaval and forget everything again for a little while longer.
This morning he's paying for it in spades.
His mouth tastes sour on waking, his tongue sandpaper-dry, a pounding headache competing with the heaviness in his limbs. His pillow smells like 'Ro, summer breezes and spring lightning, tied to too many memories- had she stayed to keep an eye on him? ...What if she had, did it even fucking matter?
Awareness comes on the same time he realizes she's indeed there with him, and she's talking to...someone else, someone over the phone. TAB. Whatever the shit those things were. Annoyed and enormously crabby, Logan growls beneath his breath, and turns to sulkily press his face into the pillow. ]

For one thing, most people don't come out and announce their abilities like that, but it makes sense when she's got one that's so pertinent to their situation here on Thisavrou. Controlling and understanding the weather is going to be a handy skill when they're at the whims of that storm.
Snake's transmitting from his house in Region 1, so he's in a fairly nondescript office space. There's the sound of a collar jingling behind him, though the animal it belongs to isn't in frame. ]
You're going to have plenty to do around here, if you can really predict and control the weather. Guessing you've already noticed that storm, right?
[ It's been acting up even more than usual lately, which can't be good. ]
And when it comes to a hangover? Greasy food always works for me.

( Whilst a lot of the rest of the message is very curious Claire has no idea what to do with it. Powers are as new to her as space is, and whilst she'd like find out more she doesn't know how questions are taken. Even if someone is advertising it. So she'll go with the one thing she can offer -- medical advice )

That word, of course, since he is still Erik, is "mutant". She's not one that he knows, though. Must be from after his time, then, which he knows most of them are.]
There are a few others of us here.
There's no school, yet, but I'm sure that's what Charles had planned for the house when he got it.

It is a while later that Rogue does respond, and there is a flare of relief in her. Although, she realizes, there is always a change that she doesn't know her, or knows a younger her, or an older her, and it can get very confusing.]
The school is here. [And a pause.] Kinda. A copy of the building, and some mutants, but- that's a bit of a story.
[And another pause, before a soft but sad smile is given.]
it's nice to see you though, even if it means you're here.

So for the hangover you're going to want a chip butty followed by a lager, and if you can find it: bacon. And you'd be surprised how many history buffs you'd find around these parts.
