Is there any kind of schools here? Not just for children but... does anyone know, in general, what options there are?

[There's a quiet sigh.]

[He's behind any person trying to get an education. He's met too many lately that didn't have the chance for it.]

Was there anything specific you wanted to focus on? There were classes aboard the Moira. Someone already mentioned it, but it means there's probably still resources that were salvaged that you could claim in the meantime.

Well... [ There's a pause. She's not usually one to turn down acquiring things but acquiring resources probably wouldn't help her at the moment. ]

I've never been to school.

I mean some school books, maybe some pencils and paper. [It seems like that would be more useful than depending on a TAB.]

I have a little free time. I'm sure you'll have plenty of offers or directions, but I could help you out some. [Though he's sure she'll have a lot of volunteers.] I've met soldiers who hadn't had the chance for much education. [Mostly children. And he, unfortunately, didn't have as much of a chance to help them as he would have liked.]

Oh. Maybe those could help.

[ Once she started actually learning to read and write it'd definitely be good to have something to write with she supposes. ]

I would appreciate the help. Really. I've never had a chance to do much learning just was always busy making ends meet.

Yeah. I know a lot of people like that. [He had to work as a kid, but sometimes he needs reminding that it was good he had some chance for an education.]

Just let me know and we can work out a time.

I favor keeping records with those over working with the TAB.

They seem like they might be easier to use than this thing.

I think so, personally.

I'm glad there are more people here willing to spend this time improving themselves. [Mentally and physically, whether they take it home or not.] When I was an instructor I was always glad to see people put in the effort.

Is it not common for people to want to improve themselves where you are from?

Not as common as it should be.

I always have wanted to improve even if it was in unorthodox things.

I know a lot of people that think fighting is the only thing they should ever know. Or they only want to know enough to get by.

Anyone who's willing to make that extra step deserves admiration. [Though Miller's been known to be strict as hell. At least he believes strongly in positive reinforcement.]

I see. I do not think fighting is ever really enough to get by on its own, at least not for long.

So I suppose my curiosity and desire stems from self-preservation rather than any merit.

Anyway, give me a little bit of warning and I'll be sure to be at my diner so we can talk and I can give you some supplies. Hopefully the TAB can give you directions.
