Now that we're getting all cozy and settled in here, it has occurred to me that I'm without some of my kit from back home, and I'm starting to feel a little naked without it.

I'm thinking of doing a little DIY to rectify that, so if anyone would be a dear and is willing to part with:

- windshield wipers
- hose clamps
- old brassieres (underwire only)
- a propane torch
- pliers
- a grinder

I'd be grateful and maybe even inclined to owe you a favour.

no propane won't cut it for that, a plasma cutter is what you need there.

gonna use the torch to make a piece of metal pliable enough to make a tension wrench

[ Finding a free table towards the back of the establishment isn't hard. Elena slips into the booth and opens up her pacdisk, looking about for where she'd put the bras.

Three come out, as discussed, a plain white cotton and two colored ones, a navy blue and a deep red. They sit on her lap half hidden as she keeps rooting around in the pack for her utility knife. ]
