[Obviously no one's happy with how this has played out. They may have a way off this deserted rock but it's another promise from yet another group of strange people that if they play along for just a little longer, they can go home.

And after being stuck here for almost a year and a half (technically more if you count the weird party moon), Wanda's faith in all of these strangers, however well-meaning, is pretty much slim to none.]

If the Savrii can't send us home quickly, I think we should try to stay together. I am not sure I trust anyone else.

[She shrugs.]

Do you suspect incompetence, or deceit?

I don't think anyone knows how to fix their own technology as well as they tell us.

[Sounds like no one knew creating the Moira was going to cause this much of a problem, and yet here they are.]

It's better than being trapped here with no food and no way out.

But we should still try to find our own way home.

Given the history we seem to have with those that offer their "help," I have my doubts that anyone out here can truly be trusted to help us without concealing some ulterior motive.

That seems to be the going trend here, doesn't it?

I'm up for staying together if that turns out to be true. It'd make coordinating resources a lot simpler.

If we can't get home by trusting these people, then we may have to think up of other solutions. That's just a new person take on it anyway.

[It doesn't really come as a surprise that people are not so trusting of the band of strangers they met. That someone voices it out loud is even less surprising.

Logan raises an eyebrow slowly at the young woman:]

Might not be a bad idea. There's strength in numbers.

The question is, do you really trust everyone that was on that ship?

[Why yes, Logan's faith in humanity is pretty low. He's got his mutant family that he trusts blindly, but the rest...it might be difficult to change his mind at first.]

One has to wonder why we continue to bother.

And make us harder to forget. It is easier to tell one or two to keep waiting than a large group.

What choice do we have? There is nothing here.

Alternative choices certainly exist. One simply has to be willing to consider them.

[Wanda makes a face. Of course they can't stay.]

There's no food here, no other way out. But I don't think we should just hope everything will be better if we go with them. We have to try to look after ourselves.

[The statement is met with a fair amount of unhidden skepticism.]

But do they? Are we sure they mean to help? We don't know anything about them.

I am not saying we shouldn't let them help. But we can't sit and wait and do nothing for ourselves.

Well yeah. Obviously. All we got is each other.

But I'm willing to bet whatever is on the other side of that portal is better than what we found here. And until we get there, see what they actually have, we won't know exactly how things will go.

[ He wants to get home, too. And the only way to get closer to that goal is to accept the lesser of two frustrating evils. ]
