It's kind of like human fuel. Except it's meant to taste good a lot more than it's meant to be nutritious.

They're pastries. Fried dough with sugar on them. I haven't tried one of these in particular but I think they probably are pretty good.

Oh, well, there's more to the experience of eating a donut than just the taste, you know. First of all, they're thick and chewy, and when you bite into them they have kind of a slight crunch on the outside from the sugar. Then they get softer in your mouth as you chew. And of course, they're sweet. Very sweet. A lot of these have fruit on them which means they have a nice burst of berry flavor or whatever is on top.

That's sweet too, it's just that it's fruity at the same time.

It's really hard to describe without using words that relate to the taste like that. I know it's not really that helpful.

And certainly. I'm very aware that I know little to nothing about organic life forms of any sort, and that explaining new concepts can be difficult at best. Again, I truly appreciate your willingness to even try to explain.

I'm not actually sure. I mostly noticed that a lot of them had fresh fruit on top. I think some of them were maple and chocolate swirled or something though.
