[He finally looks back at his MID.]

Hello. My name is Wing; I've just arrived here. I've read through the information everyone's given, but I'd like to ask anyone willing to speak with me, about your thoughts on the situation and the captains.

[He's not trying to cause troubles, but he's also not one to just accept information because the leader says it's true. Hearing from others is a good way to build on his knowledge and come to his own conclusions, thank you.]

...Are you a friend of his?

[Though, really, is that a good thing or a bad thing? Last he saw Drift he...really didn't have any friends left outside of Wing and those from New Crystal City the former Decepticon had chosen to stand with.]

[Ratchet hesitates, but... not for very long.]

Yes. We're friends. He's an Autobot now. My name is Ratchet--I was Chief Medical Officer of the Autobots until recently.

...he's here. Drift. I'm... sure he'll want to see you.

[Autobot...wow, talk about a change.]

[He finally gets a small smile.] Ratchet. It's nice to meet you.

War's over now, so it matters... I don't know. Differently, I guess, if not less. Most of the Cybertronians on the ship are Autobots, most of them from the ship on which Drift and I are currently serving. A couple of Decepticons are here too--Megatron is, but he's an Autobot now, despite the war being over. Most of the 'Cons here are all right except Tarn, just--steer clear of him, please.

Do you have any questions? That I might be able to answer, I mean, since 'why the hell were we dragged here?' is still a total mystery and therefore off the table.

May I ask how long you've been here? ...And how long ago the war ended for you? [Because it sure was a thing just before he d--...yeah...it was still a thing.]

He sort of tortures people for a living, so I'd recommend it. He's already killed one of our crewmembers once.

I've been here a few months, and pretty much everybody is from a different time. Drift remembers farther ahead than I do, though I think Ravage is the most up-to-date at this point. I think you might be the furthest behind, but it's all over the place. For me, the war's been over a few years--not that long. Things are still pretty fragile, but we're managing, mostly.

[He looks truly saddened by that.] I'm sorry to hear that.

[So, after going off and getting himself a giant pep talk from Ratchet, Drift's finally ready to deal with this... thing. Whatever this thing was going to be. ratchet had told him that he'd already let Wing know that Drift was here, so maybe it wouldn't be too awkward right off the bat.

Well, maybe Drift isn't so ready that he's going to show his face right away, but it's still progress.]
