Greetings.

[Zenyatta's calm voice floats through the MID and the omnic monk seems to be in the observation deck, if his backdrop of stars is any indication. As he speaks he radiates a warmth and a sense of peace that few ever accomplish. He arrival here, as unexpected as it was, did nothing to shake his inner calm, and he adjusts to how things are extremely quickly. Indeed, he's even looking forward to see what new experiences this ship can bring him.]

I am Tekhartha Zenyatta, though you may all refer to me as Zenyatta. To answer some questions before you ask them: I am an omnic from Earth and a former member of the Shambali, though I am not certain if that means anything. If not, then I will be happy to answer any questions you may have for me. It is an absolute pleasure to meet you all, and I hope we will get to know each other better in the future.

If anyone cares to join me on the Observation Deck for some meditation, I would gladly welcome the company. Also, I wish to inquire about the jobs, as I do not believe the one that was given to me best suits my abilities.

[Pharah hasn't actually met any of the Shambali, but she's certainly heard of them. She arrives on the Observation deck, wearing her civilian uniform. She's still suffering from a lack of sleep and it was getting a bit much wearing her full Raptora kit around every day. She's still under the odd transformation that's effected so many of the crew, her skin a brilliant blue flecked with gold.]

[She announces herself with a polite clearing of her throat,] Zenyatta? My name is Pharah, I'm with Helix Securities International. At least, I am when I am at home. It is good to meet another from our world.

[When Genji sees Zenyatta's face on the network, he doesn't bother with responding to the post; he immediately makes his way to the Observation Deck to greet his master in person. It's not long before Genji shows up, the cheer in his voice clear behind his faceplate.]

Master! [And, of course, he makes sure to offer the omnic a bow.] I had not expected you would arrive here as well. It's good to see you.

'Within the Iris?'

Woah-- woah! Shambali?! I never thought I'd ever get to meet any of you guys!

My name's Lúcio, man, and I'm sure this is gonna sound weird but it's great to see an omnic from the same planet!

Like. AI? Human-made AI?

[ggggggggggggross.]

[If Pharah's unusual appearance bothers Zenyatta, he doesn't show it. He instead inclines his head at her in greeting.]

It is wonderful to meet you Pharah. I believe I have heard of Helix Securities, though I have never encountered them on my travels. How long have you been here? Perhaps you can tell me a thing or two about our new home.

A MID Technician. I am, unfortunately, not very skilled at programming or the like. However, I am always willing to try my best.

Ah, if you have heard of them, then you must be from my own world.

How wonderful!

And you, Genji. It seems that we truly walk in harmony, my student. Even if that path leads us to a massive spaceship drifting through another universe.

[At least Zenyatta seems to find this somewhat amusing. He bows his head to Genji and gestures to the spot beside him so they could both sit while contemplating the mysteries of the universe. Or, at least, admire how pretty the stars are.]

It is good to see you here. Just having you close by puts my soul at ease.

The Iris is in all of us. It is enlightenment that we omnics possess souls and the understanding that we, humans and omnics, are all one and the same.

Ah, I do believe I recognize you. There are many places in the world where I have gone where I have heard your music played with great enthusiasm.

[Zenyatta has encountered this outlook before and is always prepared to encounter it again. If only he knew exactly what Riptide was.]

I am, yes. Though I do not feel as though there is anything artificial about my own intelligence .

Does it really work like that? Finding peace just in knowing we are all the same?

Yes. As well as knowing that we can reach an understanding despite the differences there are between us.

You know, I really do wish that is all that it would take.

Make no mistake, it is not an easy path. One does not wake up one day with an enlightened view of the universe. Often it takes one through a forest of pain and suffering and you emerge from the other side different than the person you once were. What is important is that you never give up trying.

May I ask your name? You seem to be familiar enough with this subject to be jaded to it.

It's Bumblebee. I guess you could say that I'm somewhat familiar with it, yeah.

I'm not sure what it is, but there is clearly something wrong with you.

[Pharah gives him a dry chuckle.] It is not exactly an easy answer, somewhere between three months and a year and three months. But, I have been here long enough to know where most things are. What would you like to know in particular?

[He'd never deny an offer like that. Genji settles in beside Zenyatta, legs folded, and already feels a sense of peace creeping upon him that he'd grown accustomed to having in Zenyatta's company. His head dips at Zenyatta's words, unable to help a soft laugh at how the omnic's words reflect his own feelings.]

Your presence does much to settle me, and I'm glad I can offer you the same. Though I admit, I would have tried to be more mindful of my path if I knew it would pull you soon after.

[Not that either of them can really help something that boils down to accidental intergalactic kidnapping, but.]

[ For most of these new arrival messages Snake listens, takes note of anything interesting, and then moves on. He doesn't have the time or the energy to try and explain the situation to each newcomer, although he does find it interesting that the Ingress is apparently active again. He'll have to go look into that sooner rather than later.

Still, this robotic being with its strangely soothing voice had said a familiar word: omnic. It's one that Snake has only come across here, which means that this Zenyatta must come from a specific world.

He'd welcomed questions, so here goes. Snake opens up a video call, watching Zenyatta carefully as he speaks. ] Do you know someone named Angela Zeigler? [ Angela had said she'd come to trust the omnics despite the war, but Snake just wants to be sure. ]

[An android talking about meditation? Now that caught Kaidan's attention. Given he spent a lot of time on the observation deck in his own form of meditation, it was inevitable that he would run across him sooner rather than later.]

What sort of meditation do you partake in? I am interested, and am often on the observation deck.
