[First, there’s audio. There actually isn’t any sound, except the soft sound of someone breathing. Then there’s something of a little huff, and then a very distressed-sounding breath being taken.

The breathing stops. There’s silence for a few moments, and then some scratching as fingers run over the MID's microphone. A softer brushing, as hair goes over it; she put it up to her ear. A few more curious taps with her fingers, and then the audio ends. The text function is next.]

[Finally, the video flips on. A pair of bright, bright, big blue eyes are blinking curiously at the communicator. The frame tips up to show straw-yellow bangs, and then up towards the ceiling. After a moment it swivels down to the ground, showing a pair of standard-issue Moira boots. It swivels up again to show Nill.

She tilts her head to one side, her long blonde hair falling over her shoulder. And now that it’s out of the way, one small, white wing is visible behind her back.

Suddenly, she looks very distressed; her eyes widen very noticeably, and her brows furrow. Now a pair of wings are very visible behind her; they’re standing straight up, twitching with agitation. Her lips press into a thin line, and then she turns the camera away from her, giving a panoramic view of where she is; she’s standing near the elevator on Moro deck. She's here, so now what? Heine isn't nearby, and she needs to find him.

The young girl turns the camera back to her, the recording times out on her distressed face.]

[Badou will have to deal with just how utterly Fucked he is up here, but for the moment there's something just as important on his screen. He'd know those baby blues and those wings anywhere.

Of all the people to get swept up here, it's Nill. Heine's little angel, his companion, his buddy ol' pal. His priest(ess...?) He has a distinct Bad Feeling like lead in the pit of his belly, can't focus on it, got to make sure she's alright. So he switches on the feed and peers at her, neck craned back so he knows its him.]

Nill, that you? Where are you at?

[nill isn't expecting a response to come from this strange watch, but suddenly there's badou's voice and her wings perk up as she searches for him in the immediate vicinity. except--his voice is coming from her wrist?? her eyes fall down to the MID and lo and behold, her favorite ginger is right there.

eyes still wide but a small smile creeping on to her face, she nods and waves at the device with her free hand. yes, hello badou, it's her. she is very lost and confused, please help.

she swings the watch around to show him the deck name (moro). is this helpful?]

[It's not exactly uncommon for Wanda not to recognize someone since the crew has grown so much, but she's pretty sure she'd remember if someone showed up with wings.

Maybe the Ingress turned itself back on or the captains are poking around again.]

[ it's sad, but he's used to seeing people like her, children even. mutated and engineered to look like angels, some like demons, some like fucking mermaids - you name it and a House has likely done it. Blind, deaf, mute. Whatever suits. Maybe it's something she was born with, at least, for her sake, Andyr hopes that's the case.

Either way, it's a little girl looking lost, and Andyr's rusty teenage babysitter instincts are kicking in. ]

That's Moro deck. Are you looking for your room?

[a strange lady has appeared on her wristwatch and it makes her jump. but she seems friendly enough, and even though this is kind of weird, nill offers the woman a smile and a short nod. she's fine enough, considering she has no idea where she is and her psychopath friend is missing. yeah, totally alright.]

[unfortunately his hopes would be dashed if he actually knew how--and why--she is the way she is. but that explanation will have to come at a later date, because he is a strange man who has appeared on her watch and she kind of awkwardly holds her arm away from her face as if it'll increase the distance between them.

except that's stupid, because this is a video and he clearly isn't anywhere nearby right now. nill brings the MID back towards her face and doesn't immediately reply. but eventually she nods. yes, she guesses she is. the people who had read the contract to her had said she'd get a room so the number and deck they'd given her must be it.]

[lúcio would use the video function in reply, but he figures giving text a go first would be less shocking. she seems new, after all.]

[it takes her a while to respond. she'd accidentally turned on the text function earlier and has to figure it out this time.]

Where is Heine?

[he beams at her right back, a little relieved but ultimately....well, freaked. She's all the way out here, he's all the way out here-- and where the hell is Heine?!

But he squints at what she shows him, nods]

That can't be that far from here, probably. Maybe I won't even meet any aliens on the way...just stick tight, alright? You good? You okay?

[he's already starting to walk, the camera zooming around]

[aliens?? she thinks she's heard someone talk about those but she doesn't really know what they are or what they look like. regardless, the way badou's said it, she probably doesn't want to meet one.

a harsh sigh, and she nods. yes, she's fine. heine is missing and naoto is missing, but at least badou is here. he's good at finding things, right? if anyone knows how to find their friends, it'll be him.]

[well hell neither does he! Unless they have cigarettes..and even then he won't just do ANYTHING yknow. he isn't easy

he nods back and keeps on moving, moving, moving, ducking around the eerie technobabble]

Don't worry, don't worry. We'll figure this out! I'm on the case.

[he has no idea what to do. aliens and shit on his own he could handle. this?]

[hearing him say that does make her feel better. he's being active, he's doing something. meanwhile, she stays put, pressing her back to the wall and trying to stay out of the way of anyone who might come by. she's spent her entire life staying under the radar, and right now is no different.]

[ peter's seen enough in the past few months in his life to not be completely weirded out by her wings; once you've seen vision you've basically seen it all, to be honest. she's obviously upset, though, and maybe alone. peter was fortunate enough to recognize a few people he knows here, but feeling lost and alone on top of that can't be much of a party. ]

[sorry for the wait little buddy, he got a bit turned around. and also might have already gotten into some trouble if the mild scream and the shaky camera angles are any indication.

But then the feed cuts off and there's a familiar shout from down the hall. Here's the big idiot, waving, frog-marching on over]

[ he'll just give her step by step directions, because while it'd be easy and quick for him to look her friend up, it's better if she learns herself. ]

[watching badou's journey to her location via the MID is a wild ride from start to finish. she isn't certain what he screamed at, but she hopes he isn't bringing it with him. he's already almost gotten her hit by a car, give the poor girl a break.

when she finally sees him, she pushes away from the wall, wings perking up and a smile lighting her face. nill runs towards him and goes for the hug.]

[oh wow this is super helpful! nill's wings flick as she reads it and opens the directory. heine's name isn't on there, but at least she can check now.]
