[If the voice on the other end of the MID transmission is familiar to some of the members of the crew, the tone certainly is not. Zam’s still waiting for the painkillers to kick in, meaning his voice is quiet and halting as he can’t quite take a full breath without pressing against his broken ribs. He somehow manages to sound pissed off regardless.]
So… next month, I want another Cybertronian at the Ingress. And if one of your buddies steps out, you get to say hello. Not me. [Guess who was nearly crushed to death and/or dismembered by a being more than six times his size earlier that day? This guy.]
If you haven’t figured it out yet, we now have a new Cybertronian crewmember. An angry, homicidal one. Very large, mostly purple and silver, calls people “fleshlings.” [A short, half-gasp that might be taken for a pained laugh.] Seemed to know his way around an interrogation.
You see him, I suggest staying far, far away.
And while I’m here… Any engineers experienced with medical tech, I could use your help. Nothing big, just… had something damaged during that little encounter. [Zam’s not going to get into the specifics of breathpacks and axial musculature ventilation when talking hurts this much, so you’ll just have to show up if you want the specifics.]

He doesn’t seem to notice Bel come in, clearly preoccupied with looking for new replies on his MID.]

Zam -- well, this is nice. I half expected to find you down another limb.
[the tight gaze belies the flippancy, and Bel's eyes go to the broken mechanism on the table before flicking back to Zam.] Can you speak? Or -- [a brief gesture to his chest and the brief, painful breaths.]

A wan chuckle at the comment.] You were almost right. [Tarn had threatened to tear off limbs, though thanks to Frisk, that had remained only a threat.]
Not going to be giving any speeches… but I can speak. [He’d prefer text, but with the MID on his one remaining hand, that’s not going to happen. Then again, he’s not the only one with an MID here...]
Better idea. Can I use your MID?

he didn't seem angry when I spoke to him :(
Sorry you got hurt.

Re: audio;
well that's a lot less ambiguous
I bet Megatron and UM will be on that soon
I'm glad you're okay tho :(

So, kind of important question: Is he still homicidal aaand if so is anyone doing anything about that or are we just letting him run around and assault more people?
audio;
I think we should leave him on an uninhabited planet somewhere. But the captains never listen to that suggestion. [Yes, that is a suggestion that Zam has made before for other crewmembers before.]

Although you'd think being a giant robot, he'd be pretty secure in his own sense of safety.
But if he keeps attacking totally innocent people, yeah, uninhabited planet sounds good. Or an EMP grenade if things really get out of hand.

If you inform me of the times you require assistance at the Ingress, I will be present, if you have not already received an offer you are more comfortable with.
[Autobots might not be happy to see him, but at least they would focus on him more than any organic around.]
Are you expected to recover fully?
audio;
Broken ribs and some bruises. I’ll heal up fine.

[He's more on the average side, maybe a bit larger than average. But he hadn't survived millions of years of war on luck.]
That is good to hear. I was unsure of how well equipped the medical facilities of this ship are.
