First transmission; video

[It would seem that someone has just been handed a copy of the welcome guide -- and instructed on a few basics, or he wouldn't know how to transmit this video -- and it would seem, also, that he is not entirely impressed by what he found in the guide. The video is just wide enough of an angle to show what appears to be a smear of blood on his shirt.]

It's nice. Someone clearly put a lot of work into it. It's not exactly helpful though, is it?

[It seems to have glossed over quite a few things, or ignored them entirely.]

For instance, for all the trouble it goes to to tell us where we are now, it says nothing about how we get home again.

[He'd really like to get back there. He's got people to kill things to do.]

Or even how we got here. Which is what I'd really like to know.

[He's trying to get some things settled for the school, making sure rooms are setup and that it's definitely a warm and welcoming environment.

And then he hears a familiar voice coming from his TAB, his blood chills a bit. He hasn't been expecting to hear Erik of all people here. He hoped to see more people from home, mostly people Hank or maybe Raven but...

He pulls his TAB from his pocket and- thankfully he's clean-shaven now and wearing a grey sweater and dress pants. He looks much better than he had after they'd broken him out of prison.]

[He's not surprised when he hears Charles on the other end of the video. Peter had already mentioned him, and he figured it was only a matter of time before he heard from Charles himself.]

Charles.

You look better than the last time I saw you.

[Last time he saw Erik... well. Luckily he's well aware of how finicky time is when it comes to an Ingress.]

I imagine so, I have the Ingress and people here to thank for that.

[Isn't it just the thing that brings them here?]

I think I've worked out how to do that.

[A few have done it already. He figures it's worth a try, and he manages to make it happen.]

I was in Poland, and then I arrived here.

[He sees no harm in letting Charles know where he's been hiding. That doesn't mean he wants to talk about the rest of it.]

I aged ten years in a matter of a few days thanks to when the Ingress brought me and being placed in cryo. And my spine was healed. Completely. You'd never know I was shot. [EXCEPT HE REMEMBERS ERIK. HE REMEMBERS AND WON'T EVER FORGET.]

Poland. Good. [Good. Not a horseman either since he's not cleaned up, not wearing his helmet.] There's a number of mutants and gifted people here, I believe you've spoken with some by now.

Good. I never intended or wanted for that to happen. [Even if Charles doesn't believe that.]

[He fails to see how that's good. He'd give anything not to feel this way.] Peter, plus a couple of others who know me but I don't know them.

Time flows very strangely here, I can't say I'm surprised you don't know them yet. They're all good people though, that I've been able to tell.
